Cloudera Manager 7.13.x 가 지원하는 MariaDB 는 11.4 까지다 (7.1.8 이상은 10.6).[1]
Ranger 는 InnoDB 만 지원하고, 문자셋은 utf8 이어야 한다 — utf8mb4 는 안 된다.[2]
설치·초기화·서비스 등록은 MariaDB(MySQL) 설치 를 따른다. 여기에는 Cloudera 가 요구하는 설정만 둔다.
Cloudera 는 MySQL Connector/J 8.0 만 권장한다. MariaDB Connector 는 지원하지 않는다.[2:1]
